LGBT CENTER OF ORANGE COUNTY
SITUATION
Even though Orange County is part of California, a state with a reputation for being progressive, the local LGBTQ community often feels like they don't belong, resulting in them moving to Los Angeles County. That's why The Center wanted to send them a clear message: you have always been welcome here.
IDEA
Homophobic people tend to say that homosexuality is unnatural, which is factually incorrect. We invited our community to post their pictures of rainbows taken anywhere in Orange County with the hashtag #OCProudByNature. That way, with the help of OC locals and Mother Nature herself, we showed how Orange County has always been proud.
